Many selectors many properties

Hi all. Struggling with changing the background color between span’s (html) in css.

I’ve been typing… span {background-color: yellow;}

I must be doing something obviously wrong, but can’t figure it out, if anyone wouldn’t mind pointing me in the right direction please?

Try with the color blue instead of yellow

if it works , pay attention to the desciptions :grinning:
