Make a Website: CSS Styling - Navigation, help?

#1

< div class="nav" >
{
color:#5a5a5a;
font-size:11px;
font-weight:bold;
padding-bottom:14px;
padding-left:10px;
padding-right:10px;
padding-top:14px;
text-transform:uppercase;
}
< /div >

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This was the code I typed out but when I try to get past this lesson it keeps saying:

Set the color of the a elements inside < div class="nav" >..< /div > to # 5a5a5a.

But isn't that what I did??? If not, please help me correct it. I've been trying to get past this lesson for to days. Thanks!

To select an element in CSS you use:

For paragraph: p { }
For div: div { }
For class: .classname { }
For id: .idname { }

For yours:

.nav {
color:#5a5a5a;
font-size:11px;
font-weight:bold;
padding-bottom:14px;
padding-left:10px;
padding-right:10px;
padding-top:14px;
text-transform:uppercase;
}

Tags are used in HTML
