how do i make the code visible coz i've copy pasting and it still gives me the same results

#6

if you edit/update your question, leave a reply so i get a notification. Your code is not visible, take the following steps to make your code visible:

if this instructions are unclear, you can also insert 3 backticks before and after your code, like so:

```
<p>visible</p>
```

the backtick is located above the tab key on your keyboard

Well done! You made it visible! Now, what's the problem?

#11

its returning the following error ;Oops, try again. Place your h1 element and p element in between

..
tags.

#12

Between which tags? It's not visible :confused:

#13

@jibblyj, let me do this, i know what is wrong

#14

you should have your nav, which should hold a container:

<div class="nav">
  <div class="container">
  </div>
</div>

this should hold your navigation (aka your unordered list), then below this you should have your jumbotron with your heading and paragraph

#15

Good luck.
(Muhahahaha!)

#16

Thanks for sorting me out , i can only imagine my level of compliteracy !!!!!

#17

i still have the same problem . check out

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <body>
  <div class="jumbotron">
   <div class="container">
  <div class="nav"> <h1>Welcome to the world largest online shop.</h1>
    <div class="container"> <p>Browse for both corporate and non corporate contacts </p>
  </div>
 </div>

	<ul>
	<li>Sign Up</li>

  </body>
</html>

i think i need to quote myself:

you should have your nav, which should hold a container:

<div class="nav">
  <div class="container">
    <!-- your unordered list here -->
  </div>
</div>
<!-- your jumbotron and content here -->

this should hold your navigation (aka your unordered list), then
below (after the two closing divs) this you should have your jumbotron with your heading and
paragraph

I have added an h3 element in the third supporting content div but it still shows me that i have to add what could be the problem .

 <!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <body>
  <div class="jumbotron">
   <div>
    <h3>Travel</h3>
    <p>From apartments and rooms to treehouses and boats: stay in unique spaces in 192 countries.</p>
    <p>
    <a href="#">See how to travel on Airbnb</a>
   </p>
  </div>
  <div>
    <h3>Host</h3>
    <p>Renting out your unused space could pay your bills or fund your next vacation.</p>
    <p>
    <a href="#">Learn more about hosting</a>
    </p>
 <div>
 </div>
    <h3>Trust and Safety</h3>
    <p>From Verified ID to our worldwide customer support team, we've got your back</p>
    <p>
    <a href="#">Learn about trust at Airbnbt</a>
    </p>
   </div>
    <div class="container">
  <h1>Find a place to stay.</h1>
  <p>Rent from people in over 34,000 cities and 192 countries</p>
  </div>
  </div>
	<ul>
	  <li>FindUs</li>

	</ul>
	<ul>

Question: do you have an idea of what you are doing and trying to achieve?
