What am I doing wrong here? I know a lot of people had problems with it. But I've messed with this ALOT. And just as much as I've messed with it I'm sure people are tired of answering this same question.

So if you could please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks.

You can make things easier on yourself if you do a few tricks like:

  • line up your matching pairs of open/close tags
  • use short comments to help you keep track of your tags

    <div class="row"> <!-- start row -->

        <div class="col-md-4"> <!-- start 1st column -->
            <div class="thumbnail">
               ... first thumbnail code here
            </div>
            <div class="thumbnail">
               ... second thumbnail code here
            </div>
        </div> <!-- close 1st column -->

Did you want to have another go at that before I just tell you what needs fixing?

Go ahead. Any tips and constructive criticism is welcome.

  • your first column is missing its closing tag
  • your third thumbnail is missing its closing tag
  • your second column is missing its closing tag
  • your third column is missing its closing tag
  • your row, container and neighborhood-guides are all missing their closing tags.

I think you would be able to avoid all of that if you followed my two suggestions.

Please ask if I didn't explain the suggestions in enough detail.

I will add one more, always type your </div> tag as soon as you type a <div>, don't wait till later.

Haha, its a wonder I got this far..

Anyway, Thanks for the help and the tips. I'll make sure I put it to use.

Thanks again.
