I’m trying to figure out what to major in at my school. Currently offered IT wise is Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity and Business Analytics. I’m currently in the Business Analytics program but my interests lie more in systems administration. I enjoy working with networks and servers. I have successfully set up a LAMP Server, Email Server, PBX Server and several other projects, and enjoyed it. I have to take two C# programming classes in order to take any networking classes at my school, but i’m not the biggest fan of programming. I definitely see myself as more administration oriented than development oriented. Any recommendations for certifications and a combination of majors/minors for what I have described would be greatly appreciated.
