Loop back only in the case of a tie

#1

How would I loop back to beginning of code ONLY in the case of a tie.

var userChoice = prompt("Do you choose rock, paper or scissors?");
var computerChoice = Math.random();
if (computerChoice < 0.34) {
	computerChoice = "rock";
} else if(computerChoice <= 0.67) {
	computerChoice = "paper";
} else {
	computerChoice = "scissors";
} console.log("Computer: " + computerChoice);

var compare = function(choice1, choice2) {
    if (choice1 === choice2) {
        console.log("The result is a tie!");
        }
    else if (choice1 === "rock") {
        if (choice2 === "scissors") {
            return "rock wins";
        } else {
            return "paper wins";
        }
    }
    else if (choice1 === "paper") {
        if (choice2 === "rock") {
            return "paper wins";
        } else {
            return "scissors wins";
        }
    }
    else if (choice1 === "scissors") {
        if (choice2 === "rock") {
            return "rock wins";
        } else {
            return "scissors wins";
        }
    }
    else {
        return "I'm not playing anymore until you learn to play fair";
    }
};

compare(userChoice, computerChoice);

If I simply loop the first half (until the end of the tie block), I foresee losing my variables due to scope issues.

Could you explain with a bit more details what you want to do? Also if you talk about looping have you already took that next lessons about the different kind of loops?
