Lesson one error sytax

#1

Hey everyone! I am trying to solve the first lesson for some good time. I am getting really bored. I get an error, which says " "name": 'Lloyd'; " is an invalid syntax. Here's the code:

'lloyd' = {
"name": 'Lloyd';
"homework": [];
"quizzes": [];
"tests": []
}
'alice' = {
"name": 'Alice';
"homework": [];
"quizzes": [];
"tests": []
}
'tyler' = {
"name": 'Tyler';
"homework": [];
"quizzes": [];
"tests": []
}
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

#2

We do not use semi-colons as separators in dictionaries. Switch to commas and everthing will be fine.

#3

now it says that it can't assign on literal on line 1.

#4

Hi try to remove the " " around lloyd, alice and tyler.

#5

I tried that too. Nothing works.

#6

it works. thank you. I haven't tried that one. sorry.
