Lesson number one

#1

hi,

I got this message:

Oops, try again. Did you create a dictionary named lloyd? Your code threw a "global name 'lloyd' is not defined" error.

what it is my error?

lyod = {
    "name": ["Lloyd"],
    "homework": [],
    "quizzes": [],
    "tests": [],
}

alice = {
    "name": ["Alice"],
    "homework": [],
    "quizzes": [],
    "tests": [],
}

tyler = {
    "name": ["Tyler"],
    "homework": [],
    "quizzes": [],
    "tests": [],
}

Replace this line with your code.

#2

You spelled Lloyd wrong. You put lyod" instead of "llyod"

#3

That's still not the right spelling... It needs to be spelled like this:

lloyd

#4

finally found it...

lloyd = {
"name": "Lloyd",
"homework":[],
"quizzes":[],
"tests":[]
}
alice = {
"name":"Alice",
"homework":[],
"quizzes":[],
"tests":[],
}
tyler = {
"name":"Tyler",
"homework":[],
"quizzes":[],
"tests":[]
}

#5

dont use [] in case of string in dictionaries...
