Lesson Number 1

#1

Shouldn't this be right

Replace this line with your code.
lloyd = {
    "name": ["Lloyd"],
    "homework": [],
    "quizzes": [],
    "tests": [],
}

alice = {
    "name": ["Alice"],
    "homework": [],
    "quizzes": [],
    "tests": [],
}

tyler = {
    "name": ["Tyler"],
    "homework": [],
    "quizzes": [],
    "tests": [],
}

Hi, @hellghastarmy ,

No, we don't want a list of names; we just want a single string. The square brackets should not be here, since that specifies a list ...

"name": ["Lloyd"],

The grades, however, will be in lists.

Hi @reubenstarsky ,

Best to work it out without copying; you are welcome to seek all the help you need here, short of copying the solution. That makes it a better educational experience.
