I did exactly what it said to do in lesson 8 and put
$(document).ready(function() {
$('div').slidedown('slow');
});

In there, yet it still comes up with two errors. One saying "Did you put .slidedown() after $('div')?" and the other saying Uncaught TypeError: $(...).slidedown is not a function. I am confused as to why my code isn't working properly. Please let me know if you see something.

$(document).ready(function() {
$('div').slidedown('slow');
});

The function is called slideDown with a capital 'D'. Your example has a lower case 'd'. That would cause both errors.
