Lesson 8. All on your own

#1

// Write your code below!
var month = prompt ("what is your birth month");
switch (month) {
    case 'july':
        console.log('thats decent')
        break;
        case 'june':
            console.log('ehhh')
            break;
            case 'march':
            console.log.('thats whats up')
            break;
            default:
            console.log ('that is not a month')
            break;

Giving me a error of "Unexpected Token: (" Any ideas?

#2

You have an unneeded dot in your console.log statement. Correct code:

var month = prompt ("what is your birth month");
switch (month) {
  case 'july':
    console.log('thats decent')
    break;
    case 'june':
        console.log('ehhh')
        break;
        case 'march':
        console.log('thats whats up')
        break;
        default:
        console.log ('that is not a month')
        break;

#3

Thank you for catching that. Error now reads, SyntaxError: Unexpected end of input

#4

Whoops! You need }; at the end to fix it.
