Do you think you could paste your code so that we can see where you are? Also if you could post the error message you're receiving then we can help you all the faster!

#3

var myCountry = Brazil

// Use console.log to print out the length of the variable myCountry.
console.log(var myCountry.length);

// Use console.log to print out the first three letters of myCountry.
console.log("myCountry".substring(0,3));

Hi, I'll send you the error message

#4

console.log(var myCountry.length);
             ^

get rid of that "var". You use var to initiate a variable only once per variable. Also you can't initiate a variable in a console.log statement. So I believe that should be the only correction you'll need ot make here.

#5

Oops, try again. Your code doesn't look quite right. Check the Hint if you need help!

ReferenceError: Brazil is not defined

I'd appreciate your answer if these sentences above hadn't come out !!! helllllp

#6

Please post your updated code.

#7

It should be:

var myCountry = "Brazil";
                ^      ^

Make sure you're adding the parenthesis to make the value a string! :smiley:

thanks, guys !!! It's just worked right now .
