Lesson 2. Drawing your button help!

#1

This is the course that I am stuck on: https://www.codecademy.com/en/courses/web-beginner-en-UuBLw/0/2?curriculum_id=50579fb998b470000202dc8b

It is saying that I have set my div height to 0px instead of 50px, which I clearly have done. I will input my code for both the CSS stylesheet and the HTML index below.

HTML index:

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
	<head>
		<link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="stylesheet.css"/>
		<title>About Me</title>
	</head>
	<body>
		<img src="http://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-blog/assets/46838757.png"/>
		<p>We're Codecademy! We're here to help you learn to code.</p><br/><br/>
		<div>

		</div>
	</body>
</html>

CSS stylesheet:

img {
    <div>
	display: block;
	height: 50px;
	width: 120px;
	margin: auto;
	border-color: #6495ED;
	border-style:dashed;
	border-width: 2px;
	background-color: #BCD2EE;
	</div>
}

p {
	text-align: center;
	font-family: Garamond, serif;
	font-size: 18px;
}

ERROR MESSAGE:
Oops, try again. Did you remember to give your div a height of 50px? It looks like it's 0px.

general css syntax:

selector {
  property: value;
  property: value;
  property: value;
}

i don't know what you did, but the css selector for the html element <div></div> is div, and if you want to target it, create a new css selector. You can't nest css selectors, and you can also not use html syntax inside css

#5

get rid of your

. Then replace img with div
