Len's Slice-sorting sublists in a list in Python

A task in Len’s Slice requires that sublists in pizza_and _prices are sorted by prices in ascending order. How do I get the list to sort?

pizza_and_prices=[[2, 'pepperoni'], [6, 'pineapple'], [1, 'cheese'], [3, 'sausage'], [2, 'olives'], [7, 'anchovies'], [2, 'mushrooms']]
print(pizza_and_prices)
print("")

sorted(pizza_and_prices)
sorted(pizza_and_prices)

Would any of these help?

Or, perhaps this?

The ‘sorted’ function makes a copy of the list before sorting so it should be assigned to a variable (or used in an expression). Standalone, like above, has no effect.
