Learn HTML & CSS, Learn HTML, Learn CSS?

I am confused on whether the three courses are similar?

I have started and finished the Learn HTML & CSS. I browsed the catalog to look for new courses. Then, I saw the two courses: Learn HTML and Learn CSS. I can’t find the course I took: Learn HTML & CSS.

I clicked into the two courses and the content look familiar to me.

Is is true that Learn HTML & CSS is a combination of the two courses?
Or should I finish the two courses as well?

I too would like to know this.

I have just completed ‘Learn HTML’ and I’m about to start ‘Learn CSS’. However that top link shows it’s HTML and CSS combined and also says “We recommend starting with this course”.

A little confusing.

Hi @hch10, @uponavalanche,

Learn HTML & CSS: https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-html-css

  • The track exists before Learn HTML and Learn CSS

Learn HTML: https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-html
Learn CSS: https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-css

  • These tracks are the latest and updated tracks being launched, I have no comment on whether the content is similar or not.

How I know, you can read the announcement here:

What I would suggest for @hch10, if you finish Learn HTML & CSS, you may continue to take Learn HTML and Learn CSS, see what’s new, since they are the latest ones.

For @uponavalanche, I would suggest continue your course to Learn CSS, when you finish it, take Learn HTML and CSS to reinforce the knowledge. However, if you want to access Learn HTML and CSS, do it during month of September as per the announcement.

Just my opinion, cheers!

Thanks, @codexthon.

I didn’t know it as I joined weeks ago.
Once again, thanks for your attention and reply to my doubts.

Have a nice day.

@hch10 no problem. Glad to help.

Learn HTML and Learn CSS are both launched just recently. I still haven’t go through those lessons, that’s why I have no comment about them. With the new courses and announcement, I think they are going to retire the Learn HTML & CSS track soon.

Thanks for clarification. That definitely makes sense and I’m glad I’m doing the right ones!
