Learn Git | Git Checkout

#1

I’ve edited the txt file, see the differences using ‘git diff’ and am now being told to “Use the new Git command to restore the file in your working directory to look as it did when you last made a commit.”

I write “$ git checkout HEAD scene-5.txt” but nothing happens. I tried hitting ‘run’. Instructions say the text in the working directory should change back to before the edit?

ETA: I tried closing out of the file and reopening, it did not make a difference.
