Learn CSS: Typography - Line Height

#1

This is the exercise I’m stuck on:

https://www.codecademy.com/courses/learn-css-typography/lessons/css-typography/exercises/line-height-i?action=lesson_resume&course_redirect=learn-css

It’s a pretty straightforward exercise:

In style.css, set the line height of the paragraph element within the banner class to 1.4. You’ll notice the line height increase.

The answer is provided almost exactly in the example code, with the exception of the class selector. My code is below:

/* Banner Section */

.banner {
  background-color: #4D00FF;
  padding: 100px 0;
  margin-top: 77px;
  text-align: center;
  font-weight: bold;
  line-height: 1.4;
}

I run the code, I see the changes apply in the mini-browser to the right, but see that the test script fails with the onscreen error:

Did you add a value of ‘1.4’ to the line-height property?

Why, yes I did and thank you for asking.

At first I figured that there are probably still bugs with Chrome, so I jump on to Firefox which has always been my workaround for things like this. Same thing there. I’m using the latest ESR version of FF and the current version of Chrome. I don’t have IE available.

Any hints?

.banner p is the section that is supposed to be changed, I believe.

I seriously don’t know how I missed this… it’s so obvious!

Thanks!
