It gives me a typeError, but I do not know how to differentiate between the keys and values. Please Help

code should not print anything, but it should give total a value of the combined prices

shopping_list = ["banana", "orange", "apple"]

stock = {
    "banana": 6,
    "apple": 0,
    "orange": 32,
    "pear": 15
}

prices = {
    "banana": 4,
    "apple": 2,
    "orange": 1.5,
    "pear": 3
}

# Write your code below!

def compute_bill(shopping_list):
        total = 0
        for key in food:
            total += food[key]
        return total

#2

Change shopping_list to food so the parameter is not the global variable.
