Keep getting red error on #2. Multiple Selectors

I don't know what I'm doing wrong? Please explain and just don't give me the answer, because than I'm not learning.

I tried taking out the h3 completely, tried adding a div after the h3 (just turns it all black), etc. Still keep getting an error. Getting really upset.

Edit: I'm an idiot, you actually have to put "color: red;" and not the Hue code

@jay0253,

If you are working with Tag selectors
you must be able to
read the index.html-document
following the guide-lines of the
DOM Document Object Model.

                   html
                     |
           + - - - - + - - - - +
           |                   |
          head                body
           |                   |
       + - - - +        +- - - +- - - +
       |       |        |      |      |
     link    title      p     div     p
                    (intro)    |  (summary)
                               |
                       + - - - + - - - - +
                       |                 |
                       p                 ul
                  (synopsis)             |
                                         |
                                 + - - - + - - - - +
                                 |       |         |
                                 li      li        li
                                 |       |         |
                                 p       p         p

The p-Tags are located:
html > body > p  (2)
html > body > div > p (1)
html > body > div > ul > li > p (3)
p as selector we have selected all 6 p-Tag's
body > p  as selector we selected 2 p-Tags ==> Intro & Summary
div > p   as selector we have selected 1 p-Tag  ==> Synopsis
div p as selector we have selected 4 p-Tag's
li > p as selector we have selected 3 p-Tags under the ul-Tag

Please read the instructions

  • On the CSS tab,
    select only the h3 header nested inside three <div>s
    and change its color to red.

#3

you currently selected the h3 which is in inside two divs, while you should select the h3 inside 3 divs. Take a close look at your html code and the nesting

#4

Change p to h3:

div div div h3 {
color:red;
}
