hey there, I ve looked in others similar topics and i cant find one that solve my error. Please help

``````Replace this line with your code.
}
alice = {
}
def average(numbers):
total = sum(numbers)
total = float(total)
total = total / len(numbers)
def get_average(student):
homework = [average(student["homework"])]
quizzes = [average(student["quizzes"])]
tests = [average(student["tests"])]
return (homework*0.1)+(quizzes*0.3)+(tests*0.6)``````
This is a list object when it should be a function call. The return statement is attempting to do math on the sequence, which cannot be done.
``homework = average(student['homework'])``
and so on.
