# Add your function below!
def average(numbers):
    total = sum(numbers)
    total = total / len(numbers)
    return total

def get_average(student):
    homework = student["homework"]
    quizzes = student["quizzes"]
    tests = student["tests"]
    Weight = (homework * .1) + (quizzes * .3) + (tests * .6)
    return Weight

it keeps giving me the

get_average(alice) raised the following error: can't multiply sequence by non-int of type 'float'

what does that mean, and what can i do...

You're trying to get the total averages of homework, quizzes and tests. But in your get_average function, you are just trying to add the homework list, quizzes list, and tests list together. Not their average.

You should use the average function you created above.

XD nuuu, alright. Now i get it, i should've done

homework = average(student["homework"])

instead of

homework = student["homework"]
