I am following the Data Scientist career path, whichs asks to work with Jupyter Notebook. However, I’ve been recommended to install jupyterlab for the extra features and future integration.
Is it worth going the step ahead and familiarise myself with the JupyterLab as I work on the notebooks?
I’ve not used it much (so my opinion shouldn’t carry too much weight) but from what I understand jupyterlab is closer to a full interactive development environment. If you like the style of the notebooks then it’s probably worth a look. If you find you don’t need or use many of the features then it should behave like a standard notebook anyway so it’s unlikely to be a negative experience.
