}
.jumbotron p {

I don't see the link to your main.css file. What happened to your:

<link href="main.css" rel="stylesheet">

#3

in which file? main.css or index.html?

#4

That is HTML code, so in your index.html file.

#5

I have put it in my "head" group and I still get the error

#6

Please show me all of your updated head element.

#7

<head>
  <link href="http://s3.amazonaws.com/codecademy-content/courses/ltp/css/shift.css"rel="stylesheet">
  <link href="main.css" rel="stylesheet">
  </head>

#8

That looks great. Could I also see all of your CSS code? You should have more than you've shown already ... some .nav a code and there is a } missing at the bottom there.

#9

.jumbotron {
  background-image: url('https://goo.gl/04j7Nn');
  height: 500px;
}
.jumbotron h1 {
     color:#fff;
     font-size:48px;
     font-weight:bold;
     font-family:'Shift' sans-serif;

}
.jumbotron p {
    color:#fff;
    font-size:20px;

#10

You are missing the .nav a code that you did back in the exercise 2.

Also the final } is missing.

Having said all that, I went to my exercise and deleted those things so that mine is just like yours, and it still worked. That's not making things easy.

Try these steps;

  • reload/refresh the web page, now submit it again
  • if that didn't work, use the "Reset Code" button and try again
  • still not working, try a different web browser, if you can

#11

what browser are you using? ( I have 4 internet explorer for windows 8.1, firefox an (older version) chrome, and steam)

#12

firefox version 2.0.0.4

#13

am currently using internet explorer

#14

nope that didn't work I even tried a different user- the administrator.

#15

I used Chrome when I tested your code.

#16

we tried google chrome, firefox, internet explorer (for 8.1), and steam. we also used my parents administrator login and chrome. Same error. Where do we go to from here.
is it possible to start a new project and copy and paste parts of the code a section at a time? If so how do we go about doing this ie running two projects simultanously?

#17

In order to keep the Make a Website code that you have AND start a new Make a Website project then you will need to create a new account. You can do that if you have a second email address.

I have does this a few times with my gmail account: http://help.codecademy.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1397046-can-i-reset-my-course-progress-
