Hi everyone!
I finished my AP degree in computer science a little while ago and I have been juggling with job search and improving my skills in various fields ever since.
I also enjoy poking around in here reading posts and trying to help to the best of my ability.
My passion lies in IT-Security which from my understanding is not necessarily an easy job market to get into without the right experience.
I do have a few questions regarding this, which I will get to in a moment.
I have the opportunity to take a degree specialised in the subject which starts around august, but I would like to keep searching for a job until then.
When reading on, keep in mind that I live in Scandinavia and as such, job opportunities outside of Europe may be out of bounds unless they are purely remote.
So here are a few things I would like to ask you all from the community:
- Do you know any good places to search for jobs when you are newly graduated?
- In terms of bettering my skill in both web and application security, what should I focus on and how?
- Does it make sense for me to take the extra degree at all?
