Hello,
I am able to use to Codecademy Javascript course at home, but my classmates and I cannot access it while in school, and we get this error message.
Is there a reason for this? Can it be fixed? None of us are able to practice Javascript for our GCSEs. This has happened every time using it since September in school.
This is because using a school computer that is running on the same network can result in a server overload on codecademy’s end which could crash the course or even the whole site. So to prevent this codecademy has a limit on how many users can be connected on the same network at the same time. 
But I am the only one trying to access this course, and I still can’t access it. All other courses work.
You said you are trying to access it from school, are you doing it from the computer lab and are all computers in your school running on the same network?

What’s happening here is that your school is running a firewall / proxy between your school computers and the rest of the Internet. It’s only allowing certain web traffic through.
You need to speak to your teacher or directly with the school IT helpdesk and make sure all the following sites are “whitelisted”, i.e. are allowed. (This is the official list from the Codecademy Help page : Connection Lost in Codecademy's Learning Environment – Codecademy Help Center)
Now, I’m not sure how up-to-date this list is, and whether this list also applies to the new Learn JavaScript course. So here’s a screengrab of all the sites Learn JavaScript needs access to just in case you still can’t get it working.
