Java script question

Javascript question

Find total of even number from 1~100,and print out.
After that, print out if the result is bigger than 2500 or not
so, i did like this

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
  <script>
    var total = 0;
    for(var i = 1; i <=100, i++) {
      if(i%2 == 0) total += i;
    }
    if(total > 2500) {
      console.log("total is greater than 2500");
    } else {
      console.log("total is not greater than 2500");
    }
</script>
</head>
<body>
</body>
  </html>

but nothing happens.Can you help me which part is wrong?

browsers ship with a console, i would google how to find it, given the console can give really useful syntax errors:

SyntaxError: missing ; after for-loop condition

the syntax error is pretty descriptive.
