Hello,
Part 1 ready for feedback after I fixed a couple of issues where search results weren’t appearing & playlists weren’t saving. Turns out I was missing a couple of logical negation operators from Spotify.js.
This has been a really valuable & rewarding project. This is my first attempt at building a React app from scratch with structuring components and how they feed into each other.
Onto part 2…

I just looked this over, and I think you did really well on your project. I wouldn’t even get past obtaining a key and gave up immediately:( After seeing everyones projects here, Im inspired that it is possible, and Im gonna give this one another shot!
So embarassing, but here is my 3rd party API project. timezones I made to tell you the time difference between you, and friends across the globe. Its pretty cheesy, but I personally enjoy cheese.
Hi Napetico,
Heads up, I found that on the first time testing this app locally the search request failed for me. I am finding that users of my app are having similar problems too. I would be glad to hear if you find anything on this.
As a user of my own app, I am able to carry out multiple searches and save the playlist locally or via my online instances, but the problem I am facing is that my other users of the app get a 403 forbidden after the second search query they attempt.
Keen to know if our problems are related in some way.
Liking the UI on your application, that was the main reason I opened yours up, keen to get some inspo:
