It says "If I am hecking for "If " statement, but everything works fine

var userAnswer = prompt ("Do you want to race Bieber on stage?");

if (userAnswer === "yes")
console.log("You and Bieber start racing. It's neck and neck! You win by a shoelace!");
console.log("Oh no! Bieber shakes his head and sings 'I set a pace, so I can race without pacing.'");

It is the code-checker giving you a specific Oops-message.
In this case the course creator was in the assumption
that prior to your just-defined IF ELSE statement there was allready one created.
The course-checker is checking if there are more then 1 IF statements in your code....

So in front of your just defined code put in a dummy

//if (condition) {
     //IF code-block if conditon === Boolean true
//else {
    //ELSE code-block if the condition is not-true also written as !true
