Is anyone else having issues getting in contact with their customer support? I started the free trial and got charged the monthly amount somehow.

The Customer Support team are pretty good at getting back to people.
Since you’re asking about billing, we can’t really help you out here on the forums - the super users and mods aren’t Codecademy staff, so we have no access to your account details etc.
If you haven’t already, please log a support ticket with the CS team here and someone ought to get back to you within 72 hours.
