Is There Any Use for The Space Outside the Body Tags?

The lesson says that only content inside the opening and closing body tags can be displayed to the screen. Is there normally any use for space outside the body tags? (explanantions, notes, source etc.)

Hi @dataninja13551 following the HTML specification the only use for space outside the body tag is the head tag used to define the title of the page and link to other sources such as script files.

Notes should be given as comments <! - - A comment - - > within either the head or body

On actual web pages you will find lots of PHP outside the html as well as SQL queries and many JS functions. The html is the only part of the page that anyone 'sees" in the browser.
