I want to know if it is still worth learning java related things like angular.js? All modern browsers dropped support for it except for those who are using apple mac with safari, but without apple it is impossible to check the work if you write something at home. Might be I am wasting my time with this course: angular.js - your first app?

Hi @basiccoder50451,

Java and JavaScript are both different languages.

AngularJS is a framework based on JavaScript, not Java. As far as I know, angularJS is not dropping off from support but gaining popularity instead.

Copied from here:
Products built with AngularJS include YouTube Video Manager, The Weather Channel site, several Google products, and Tinder.

You can read more on what Codecademy said about this.

More info about angularJS, google is your best friend. Cheers
