Do you think that it is helpful to learn the Command Line for game development?
It’s helpful to learn the command line for your chosen operating system regardless.
For example, let’s assume you’re working with Visual Studio Code. You can have a terminal window open as part of the editing environment, and understanding the command line would allow you to use the terminal to do things without needing to leave the editor.
No command line knowledge, you’ll need to change windows or whatever and that’ll slow you down / break your flow.
But for game development would I ever need to work with VS Code. I would have to work with a game engine. Do game engines use a terminal?
