def is_int(x):
if type(x) == int:
return True
return False

This is my code.I couldnt find my wrong.Pls,help me

this would be very easy, wouldn't it?

for this exercise 7.0 and -2 should also be considered integers

Read the instructions carefully, what is the input going to be? What do you need to tell apart, how do they define an integer? Testing the type of the argument is not what's asked for

-2 and 17 both are integer I thing..

7.0 is is of the type float. For thsi exercise, you need to build a function which also considers -2.0 and 7.0 as integer

thank you very much .
