What is C++ for?
Hello @theprogrammer150, welcome to the forums! C++ is a general purpose language. It is object-oriented, and statically typed, meaning you must declare what type a variable is, before you/when you assign it.
Here are a few articles about C++:
I hope this helps!
Every language has a purpose for which it was created. But with years of development it can do much more than it was made for. Likewise, C++ was initially built for use in desktop applications mostly. Now C++ is used in making games, writings scripts for hacking, AI, etc.
I think all languages are useful in some way, but i know that C++ can be VERY useful.
I believe C++ is still useful specially in Embedded systems. I have some friends who are working in this field only with C++ and they have good salary and even visa sponsorship.
Yes, you are right there.
As an electrical engeneering student. I use C and C++ for programming embedded systems because those systems have limited ressources: speed of operation and memory
That is true, and also, welcome back to the forums.
