Invalid Error

** Oops, try again. It looks like Lloyd is not in the students list.**

Instruction says: Below your code, create a list called students that contains lloyd, alice, and tyler.

My code:
students = ["lloyd", "alice", "tyler"]

So my question is- why is it looking for "Lloyd" when the instructions say to use lower case?

Oh WOW! That is weird, when I copied the instructions over they lower case L became an upper case L

#2

you stored strings in the list, you should store the dictionaries in the list

#3

it doesn't say dictionary list, it says list and I tried the dictionary list and still got an error saying it was not a list

#4

actually, it does:

Below your code, create a list called students that contains lloyd, alice, and tyler

do you see them use qoutation marks around lloyd, alice and tyler? No, so they refer to the dictionaries

#5

got it thanks, since I am new to this particular language, the inferences are not always clear
