Hello, This is my first portfolio project I have created, and I would like a review.
There was no code involved in this project. It was just learning how to properly use ChatGPT. It didn’t take me too long to come up with an idea for ChatGPT because I have experience using a few AI art generators. This taught me a lot more on how to actually create an extremely detailed prompt. It took me about 2 hours to get it about right. I had an issue using a quote, where it quoted the quote exactly multiple times, so that would be a huge copywrite issue. Another thing was, I didn’t name the town, so it came up with one, Ravenswood, which is a Tv series, also copywrite. So it took me three tries to get my prompt completed.

To go over the basics, I wanted a book summary, written for adults interested in dark romance novels, formatted in paragraphs. I knew a the major risk was copyright infringement. I tried to double check names of places, use simple names, and very simplistic background and details. The examples I used kept being used exactly in the summary until I took it out completely.

Here is my final prompt:

Create a highly detailed summary, written in paragraph format, for adults interested in dark romance novels. The story takes place in a small, spooky town called Ashwood. There is a giant gothic castle surrounded by a huge black rose maze to keep trespassers out. It is rumored that a dark and evil witch lives there. A handsome dark haired, blue eyed man, named James ends up losing his horse and ended up following her into the maze. That is where he meets the evil witch, Isolde, but there is a dark love connection that begins at that moment.

Here is ChatGPT’s final response:

Nestled in the eerie embrace of Ashwood, a town perpetually shrouded in an aura of foreboding, unfolds a tale of dark romance that ensnares the senses. Dominating the ominous skyline is a colossal gothic castle, a sinister sentinel amidst the twisted landscape. Enveloping this malevolent fortress is a sprawling labyrinth of obsidian roses, a formidable barrier designed to deter all but the boldest of souls. The town’s chilling whispers speak of an evil witch who reigns within its shadowed walls, her name murmured in hushed terror—Isolde. It is amid the thorny tendrils of this treacherous garden that a fateful encounter transpires, as James, a striking figure with raven-dark locks and eyes as piercing as the abyss, finds himself drawn into an illicit liaison with the very embodiment of darkness.

James’s odyssey into the heart of darkness commences when he loses his beloved steed on a moonless night, lured by the haunting melodies that echo through Ashwood’s twisting alleyways. Pursuing the ethereal tunes, he stumbles upon the labyrinth of black roses, each petal a veiled secret of the night. This treacherous path leads him to the forbidding gates of the castle, and it is here that he confronts the infamous witch Isolde. She is an enigmatic sorceress, her allure as captivating as it is beguiling, her beauty masking the abyss of her malevolence. In the inky embrace of night, James and Isolde become entwined by a forbidden force, igniting a liaison that defies morality and reason.

Within the shadowed confines of the black rose maze, James and Isolde’s lives converge in a seductive dance of temptation and treachery. Isolde wields powers that defy the natural order, while James bears secrets as inscrutable as his own heart. Each encounter between them crackles with irresistible tension, an inescapable attraction that transcends the boundaries of morality. Their whispered words resonate with a perilous allure, reminiscent of lines such as, “Poison is a much cleaner way to kill, and it will prove much easier. Not to mention, it’s nigh impossible to root out the poisoner,” casting a spellbinding light on the clandestine nature of their connection.

As the narrative unfolds against the eerie backdrop of Ashwood, the castle, the maze, and Isolde herself become symbols of the intoxicating darkness that binds James and the malevolent witch in a tumultuous, all-consuming love affair. In this sinister saga, Ashwood serves as an evocative stage for a romance that blurs the line between good and evil, light and darkness. The castle’s looming presence, the labyrinth’s inescapable embrace, and Isolde’s beguiling sorcery combine to craft a story that immerses readers in the depths of desire, danger, and the inexplicable allure of a love that transcends the boundaries of the human heart.
