In your mySpeed variable, remove the parentheses. These are not required when assigning a value.

Beyond that, your code is technically fine, however one tricky thing you'll learn about codeacademy is that when they want you to print specific strings, it's best to just copy and paste them to avoid typos. If you look closely in the instructions, the strings do not include any punctuation.

So, just have your if statement print "Slow down" without an exclamation mark, and "Drive safe" without a period.
