Instructions not clear for HTML Document Standards

Hi there,

I’m not entirely sure how your codes differ because your first code isn’t fully displayed as code. But from what I can tell, you initially put the <a href="./index.html">Brown Bear</a> below the body (I think, as mentioned, I can’t see the entire code) which gave you an error message. In the solution that worked, you put it below h1. However, the instructions are to put it between <body> and <h1>.
I’m not sure what you did wrong or why it worked out in that way.
One possibility for your issue is that the code saved from the last lesson (for me it was the same) may be missing the <body> tag for some reason. Maybe it’s because you experimented with the code or accidentally deleted the tag, so as a result, you had trouble understanding/following the instructions.
Basically, the reason you’re creating the anchor element at the top of the page is to create a navigation menu with which people can then navigate on the website. So it is supposed to be at the top of the page, or directly below the <body> tag.

This is the code I wrote, it didn’t give me any error messages. I hope it helps for comparison and to understand what I mean, and maybe correct the code you have right now:
