Input submit button does not appear

First of all, I have never asked any questions about coding, so I hope it will be posed well.
I am trying to create a simple form and I tried to create an input button. It will not appear in the html, though. Could anyone advice?

First, start off with the button tag because you currently have no button!

Basic button: <button>This is text for button</button>

You also need somewhere to store the answers.
