Everything seems to be in place but i still get the "incorrect total". I don't get what's the problem because everything is counted correctly

prices = {
    "banana" : 4,
    "apple"  : 2,
    "orange" : 1.5,
    "pear"   : 3,
}
stock = {
    "banana" : 6,
    "apple"  : 0,
    "orange" : 32,
    "pear"   : 15,
}

for key in prices:
    print key
    print "price: %s" % prices[key]
    print "stock: %s" % stock[key]

total = 0
for p in prices:
    prices[p] *= stock[p]
    print prices[p]
    total += prices[p]
print total

ERROR: Oops, try again. It looks like your code did not print the correct total.

Had the same problem create an additional name to store the first calculation in the for loop.

total = 0
for p in prices:
subtotal = prices[p] * stock[p]
print subtotal
total = total + subtotal
print total
