In the terminal, compile the SCSS to CSS

I seem to be stuck on this exercise and I can’t seem to figure out why. As instructed I’ve gone ahead:
In the terminal, compile the SCSS to CSS by typing the following command and hitting Enter on your keyboard:

sass main.scss main.css
Compare the output in main.css to the input in main.scss.

After submitting my code all I’m seeing is a red “x” with no explanation as to what I might have done wrong.

```
@import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Pacifico);
sass main.scss main.css
h1 {
font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;
text-align: center;
}
.banner {
font-family: ‘Pacifico’, cursive;
height: 400px;
background-image: url(“lemonade.jpg”);
}
.container {
text-align: center;
font-family: ‘Pacifico’, cursive;
}
<do not remove the three backticks above>
Hi @laboheme125,
From what you’ve posted here, it looks like you have typed the compile command into your main.scss file instead of into the terminal.
