Image Slider

Hello
i am trying to make my own portfolio website in this moment,
and i understand html and css. But Javascript is quite a mystery for me. Actually what im looking for is not that difficult. I want a slideshow with arrows, where you can see all the images. But I only find some codes where you only see the current image, for example here.

var slideIndex = 1;
showSlides(slideIndex);

function plusSlides(n) {
showSlides(slideIndex += n);
}

function currentSlide(n) {
showSlides(slideIndex = n);
}

function showSlides(n) {
var i;
var slides = document.getElementsByClassName(“blogSlides”);
var dots = document.getElementsByClassName(“blogSlider__dots–dot”);
if (n > slides.length) {
slideIndex = 1
}
if (n < 1) {
slideIndex = slides.length
}
for (i = 0; i < slides.length; i++) {
slides[i].style.display = “none”;
}
for (i = 0; i < dots.length; i++) {
dots[i].className = dots[i].className.replace(" active", “”);
}
slides[slideIndex - 1].style.display = “block”;
dots[slideIndex - 1].className += " active";
}

is it difficult to change my idea in this code ?
and don’t be too hard with me :slight_smile: I’m just a beginner.

greetings
