Is there any way to disable these messages? They get really annoying when they pop up every other second, especially when I’m not even stuck.
Yes it’s really annoying but unfortunately you can’t do anything about it
Gah, that does sound like it gets rough, quick. Thank you for sharing, I will send this on to the team.
Yes! I agree with that. That would be great if it was not made to do that.
I think it should give the solution to the current step(only the one you a stuck in NOT solution for all steps at once.) It helps when am stuck and i get the solution the i follow it to see where i was wrong.
most annoying situation.
This is really bad. I just started w/ codecademy and paid for a year. I can’t do a year of this when the pop up interrupts me every 2 minutes. I like the idea, but make it a button that I can click when I need it.
My understanding is that this is being remedied on a track by track basis. Some tracks (units) show only a Solution
button after a couple of failed attempts to Save/Run. It may be ignored or clicked. When clicked, the above pop-up acts as a confirmation modal, only.
I’m taking a codecademy course in bash for my new work and I am recieving these messages every minute. Why can’t we have a Do not show this again
checkbox?

I can’t use Code Academy any more unless something is done about this prompt- I lose my train of thought, it easily doubles the amount of time a course takes, and it makes me feel self conscious about my progress. Most the time I’m not even stuck, but having a popup constantly telling me I’m ‘doing it wrong’ is driving me crazy.
Furthermore, I’ve found myself not retaining much at all since I’m more desperate to complete the course before another prompt shows up, than actually learn from it.
We all exist in a shell of our own creation exuded from the years of our existence. Some tolerance or leniency is not unimaginable in an online platform. We’re all here to learn. So learn; and, adapt. This is the sequence of life. Go with it and be happy.

This window poping up is either a bug or things didn’t get tested thoroughly
