So in this exercise you are asked to: Line 4 has a code statement that is incomplete. Use each Boolean operator no more than once to replace the empty comments /**/. The code statement should print out false.

So in the code your given you have 3 boolean operators ( ! && and ||) and 3 slots to fill in the code you are given. Your starting code looks something like this:

boolean riddle = /**/( 1 < 8 /**/ (5 > 2 /**/ 3 < 5));

I would look and follow the example that is given in the lesson below. Also, notice how the order of how all 3 are evaluated. Use this knowledge to help you complete the lesson! :smiley:

system.out.println( !(false) || true && false);

i did exactly as they and you said, thank you very much by the way, but it said error you used one Boolean operator twice bu this is what i ran.
boolean riddle = /*!/( 1 < 8 /&&/ ( 5 > 2 /| |*/ 3 < 5 ) ) ;
