I need help with Learn Sass: Your First Sass Stylesheet Lesson 6/9!

**Can someone one help me get past this?` I keep trying to add reference the variable as a background color in the slogan selector. I think I added it but it keeps telling me I didn't. Am I doing something wrong, I checked the spelling and all that. Is it that I put it in the wrong place or something else? **

@import url(https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Pacifico);

## //Add variables here: $translucent-white: rgba(255,255,255,0.3);

h1 {
  font-family: Roboto, sans-serif;
  text-align: center;

.banner {
  font-family: 'Pacifico', cursive;
  height: 400px;
  background-image: url("lemonade.jpg");
  .slogan {
    span {
  font-size: 24px;
  line-height: 200px;
  position: absolute;
  border: 4px solid black;
  top: 200px;
  left: 25%;
  width: 50%;
  height: 200px;
  text-align: center;
  border : {
    top: 4px solid black;
    bottom: 4px solid black;

> ## background-color: $translucent-white;

.container {
  text-align: center;
  font-family: 'Pacifico', cursive;
  .icon {
  display: inline-block;
  margin: 2%;
  border: 4px solid black;
  font-size: 32px;

Your lines which contain the variable declaration and where you set background-color are both commented out.

@kianna.amaya did you solved it ?

I’m stuck at the same point :expressionless:
