I need help understanding this sentence

Hi coders,

If you take a look at the link/screenshot I’ve sent, this line " However, if a movie has a name of simply ‘J’, it would actually match. This is because BETWEEN goes up to the second value — up to ‘J’. So the movie named ‘J’ would be included in the result set but not ‘Jaws’." I don’t really understand why ‘J’ would still be included even though it’s not within range of the selection. Please advise. Thank you so much in advance!

It’s an inclusive range expression, you can treat it like the less than OR EQUALS TO operator, >= 'J' if that makes more sense.
