I just started and I'm already stuck. (Lesson 1, Exercise 3)

So, I'm stuck at Lesson 1, Exercise 3 and when I try typing the "<" part, it gets highlighted in red and when I scroll over it to see what the problem is, I see a message saying, "Special Characters must be escaped: [<]." What is a special character, and what does it mean to be escaped? I'm so lost. Any help is greatly appreciated.

P.S. I hope I structured this forum correctly

It will be like that until you finish adding your new element.

That extra character causes the issue. < it doesn't make the body tag appear closed and so distorts the structure.

Hope this helps!

Oh, I just needed to finish? Oy, I'm in for a long ride.

how to insert font family in the main.css

#11

You should open a new discussion forum for this. However, if it's an external font, link it in the head tag and define that font-family in your main.css.

Hope this helps!
