I have no idea whats wrong

#1

'var compare = function (choice1, choice2) {
if(choice1 === choice2) {
return "The result is a tie";
}

else if(choice1 === "rock") {

if(choice2 === "scissors") {
    return "rock wins";
}
else {
    return "paper wins";
}

}'

I honestly don't see whats wrong, any help?

What error message do you get? And how are you calling the function?

#3

you have too add a curly braket "}" in the end to complete the syntax . here is your correct code below

var compare = function (choice1, choice2)
{
if(choice1 === choice2)
{
return "The result is a tie";
}

else if(choice1 === "rock")
{
if(choice2 === "scissors")
{
return "rock wins";
}
else
{
return "paper wins";
}
}
}
