I learned the difference between programming and coding. Programmer is the author of the recipe book and coder is like the computer.
Regardless which environment we are working in, they all have one thing in common: They promise to do what their syntax allows with given standard library, and beyond. A programmer understands the language from what it promises. That is why every little nook and cranny of the standard library of a language should be explored and leveraged.
Bottom line, a ‘coder’ and a ‘programmer’ are one in the same, although one may be professional (makes their living) and the other may be amateur (does it as a hobby). In this respect we can call me a ‘coder’.
