    Which one is correct?

    The exact format I got actually was

    <li style="font-size=12px; font-family: Verdana">This item is medium Verdana.</li>
    

    But I get the same exact error of the size of the paragraph being 16px instead of 12 px.

    Wow, @cadecodes gives you the exact solution. You have two property’s (font-size and font-family), after one you use a colon, the other a equal sign. This syntax should be the same, so is it the colon or the equal sign you should use?
